FollowUpOwl SMS Terms

FollowUpOwl is software that home-improvement contractors use to follow up on estimates. FollowUpOwl (operated by Offstream LLC) is the sender of these texts. We send them on behalf of the contractor you asked for an estimate, from one toll-free number used by FollowUpOwl. FollowUpOwl writes every message. Every text starts with "FollowUpOwl for [Business]:" and names that contractor's business, for example "FollowUpOwl for Mike's Painting: Thanks for your quote request."

How you agree. Before the first text, you agree to get texts from FollowUpOwl about your quote, either by tapping "Yes, text me" on the contractor's screen or on the contractor's FollowUpOwl web page, or by telling the contractor yes after they read you our short consent script. You don't have to agree.

What you'll get. Up to 4 automated texts per quote: a confirmation, then up to 3 check-ins about that one quote (by default 2, 7 and 14 days after the quote). Automated check-ins stop as soon as you reply. If you reply, we pass your message to that contractor, and they contact you directly from their own phone. Texts are informational only, with no promotions or offers.

When. Automated texts are sent only between 9 AM and 8 PM Monday to Saturday and 12 PM to 8 PM Sunday, your local time.

Cost and frequency. Msg & data rates may apply. Message frequency: up to 4 automated messages per quote.

Stop anytime. Reply STOP to any text to end all FollowUpOwl texts, for every contractor that uses FollowUpOwl, on any FollowUpOwl number. You'll get one confirmation text and nothing after that. Other words like END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT work the same way. Reply START to sign up again.

Consent isn't required to buy anything. You don't have to agree to texts to get an estimate or hire the contractor.

Your privacy. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent won't be shared with any third parties. See our Privacy Policy.

Carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported on major US carriers.
