Who sends these texts
FollowUpOwl quote updates are sent by FollowUpOwl (Offstream LLC) on behalf of the contractor who quoted you.
How you opt in
You opt in by giving your mobile number to a contractor when you ask them for a quote. Consent isn't required to get a quote.

Day 2

Day 7
FollowUpOwl for Mike's Painting: Hi Maria, checking in on the living room painting quote. Questions? Just reply. STOP to opt out.
Day 14
FollowUpOwl for Mike's Painting: Hi Maria, last note on the living room painting quote. No pressure, reply anytime. STOP to opt out.
HELP reply
FollowUpOwl: Quote texts for local contractors, up to 4 per quote. Help: help@followupowl.com. Msg&data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out.
STOP confirmation
Reply STOP to any message. This stops all FollowUpOwl texts to your number, from every business that uses FollowUpOwl, not just the one that texted you.
Your carrier sends a confirmation like this (exact wording can vary by carrier):
NETWORK MSG: You replied with the word "stop" which blocks all texts sent from this number. Text back "unstop" to receive messages again.
Text START or UNSTOP to opt back in.
For STOPALL, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, QUIT, REVOKE, OPTOUT, and plain-English requests, FollowUpOwl replies once with "FollowUpOwl: You're unsubscribed and won't get more FollowUpOwl texts. Reply START to opt back in."
How many, what it costs, and when
Up to 4 texts per quote over about 2 weeks. Msg & data rates may apply. Automated texts go out only from 9 AM–8 PM Monday to Saturday, and noon–8 PM Sunday, in your local time.
STOP, START, and HELP
STOP ends all FollowUpOwl texts from every business; START or UNSTOP re-subscribes; HELP or help@followupowl.com.
Privacy, terms, and SMS terms
Mobile numbers and opt-in consent are never shared with third parties for marketing.
What contractors confirm
Contractors confirm, when they sign up, that they only add people who asked them for a quote and gave their number for it.
